Starting a garden is generally considered a labor of love.Every day and in every walk of life people are starting up new gardens for a whole lot of reasons.
Incredibly – for me the main reasons that I put forward as my motivation for starting a garden are for the space to look nice and to grow some healthy vegetables and fruits.
But deep down I think that what I really gain out of the experience is MASSIVE DOSES of therapy.
Those of you that have gardened before will know this to be a really amazing byproduct of your garden.
When you have just spent hours working in your garden and have cleaned up all the bits and pieces and then are standing with the hosepipe in hand – watering down a garden bed – the feeling is almost indescribable.
This post that I am writing here came naturally from me having just spent 20 minutes this morning drinking my first cup of coffee in my garden.
Strolling around the garden was so therapeutic that my entire day will probably be on the right footing.
I am going to look for some pics of my own garden to show you how lucky I really am.
